Refugee Week is an annual celebration that aims to highlight the positive contributions made by refugees to our communities. In the spirit of celebration, the GOYA exhibition has invited 8 local female-identifying artists from a refugee or migrant background to exhibit their work - including:

Exhibiting artists have chosen to donate a portion of their art sales to Bonnie Support Services - an organisation dedicated to supporting women and children from all backgrounds who are seeking safety from domestic violence and at risk of homelessness.

Exhibiting artists donated a portion of sales to Mudgin-Gal Women's Place - An Aboriginal organisation delivering support, referrals and community-based services to Aboriginal women and families in inner city Sydney since 1992. It aims to build the capacity of Aboriginal women and families through the delivery of skills-based programs, whilst also providing a safe space for vulnerable women, and is active within the wider local community on issues such as family violence.
NIGHTMARES
โ๏ผฎ๏ผฉ๏ผง๏ผจ๏ผด ๏ผญ๏ผก๏ผฒ๏ผฅ๏ผณโ was a fundraiser variety evening of song, featuring stripped back performances by some of Sydney's finest female-identifying artists, including:

The event aimed to raise funds for the collective, so they can continue to support more female-identifying and non-binary artists through our inclusive community arts events. A portion of profit made was donated to SHARE THE DIGNITY, who bring dignity to women and girls experiencing homelessness, domestic violence, and period poverty through the distribution of period products.

a portion of art sales made from the event was donated to The Girls Refuge - a short term, crisis accomodation space in Sydney for girls aged 13-17 who are going through a difficult time and are homeless, or at risk of homelessness. together the event raised $1520.
WOMXN
the โwomxn; creators & makersโ exhibition was A collaborative group show and market to celebrate International Women's Day in 2021. Hosted on gadigal land, the event exhibited over 30 local artists, including painters, illustrators, photographers, weavers, sculptors, jewellers, ceramicists, zine makers, and videographers.
The exhibition aimed to honour and support female identifying and non-binary artists and entrepreneurs in our community by providing an all-inclusive platform to showcase their iso creations. featured artistโs included:
